"The Tsilhqot’in Nation are horse people, and horses are a part of everyday life for many of our communities. We want to get the youth connected to horses in some way, so we reached out to Equine Connection to see if they would come to the Nation for training. In 2019, we held an initial training that included two members from each of the 6 communities. The participants were excited to get to work on EAL.
However, in 2020, when the pandemic started, our communities went into lockdown, and most programs were not running. In 2022, we wanted to do a refresher training so that the facilitators could start up with their programs again. We highly recommend Equine Connection to provide EAL training. The ladies were very professional while keeping it fun. Thanks for coming to our Nation twice to do the training."
